Bishamonten (毘沙門天), also known as Vaisravana or Bishamon, is one of the Seven Gods of Fortune. She is In her debut, Bishamon is seen discussing Yato with Kazuma. Later, she And this is a symbol of their long relationship together.
In chapter 59, when he was frantically looking for Bishamonten, Kazuma asked if they were willing to tell him who the sorcerer is and if not to stay out of his way. At one point, and without Vaisravana's knowledgehe requested that Yato dispose of all of his brethren, as they were corrupt and infecting their master with Blight.
Heeding his request, Yato slaughtered all of the Shinki, with the exception of Kazuma. This left Kazuma as the last survivor of the "Ma Clan". This would also spawn the lifelong hatred Vaisravana would posses for Yato. In his debut, Kazuma is seen speaking to Vaisravana about Yato. Later, he is seen in his Shinki form, tracking Yato and Yukine and navigating for Vaisravana.
When Vaisravana catches up to Yato and Yukine in the forest, Kazuma reverts back to his human form, tending to the injured Kuraha, who was harmed by Yukine.
He then stops Vaisravana from pursuing Yato, after Kofuku had opened the Vent with Daikokutelling her it was too dangerous, and that while she might want to give chase to Yato, he would not allow her to risk harm to her Shinki further. Vaisravana, seeing reason, departed. Before Kazuma fled, he bowed to Yato, then disappeared. He spoke with her, hiding her from Vaisravana and Kuraha, and voiced his concerns on Yato's deteriorating condition. He mentioned that Yukine would soon have to be dealt with, for his crimes against his master, and asked Hiyori to look after Yato.
With her agreement, he departed, but not without warning that, if Yato's Blight spread further, he would die. Hiyori arrived at Vaisravana's temple, in search of Kazuma to help with Yato's Purification Ceremony. He agreed to assist, arriving with her at Kofuku's shop. He, alongside Mayu and Daikoku, began the ceremony. However, halfway through it, as Yato's condition worsened and Yukine began to become more and more corrupt, he urged Yato to break his contract with Yukine, and for Daikoku to kill the Shinki.
However, the ceremony was a success, and Kazuma departed soon after. When Vaisravana 's own Blight began to spread, due to her neglect of her Shinki, he demanded that all of her Shinki be searched for signs of corruption.
Despite this, no signs of such symptoms were discovered, and he later apologized to Kugaha for causing such a disturbance.

Later, Yukine arrived at Vaisravana's temple, in search of Suzuha. When Vaisravana spotted him, they soon got into a heated confrontation. Kazuma defended Yukineand when Vaisravana asked him if the rumors of his involvement in Yato's Purification Ceremony were true, he admitted that they were.
Vaisravana, distraught, asked why he had betrayed her for their enemy, to which Kazuma countered that Yato was their "benefactor". Vaisravana attempted to shoot Yukine, but the latter was defended by Kazuma, who created a Boundary between them and his master.
Vaisravana nearly excommunicated Kazuma; however, she hesitated, and then exiled him. After being exiled, Kazuma goes to Kofuku's house because it is the only place he knows where to stay. Afterwards, while Kuguha tries to kidnap Hiyori Kazuma intervenes.
He tries to use bind on Kugaha but it is ineffective. Upon deducing Kugaha's plot to drive Yato into killing a weakened Bishamon due to supposedly kidnapping Hiyori to spite Yato, Kazuma and Hiyori attempt to escape the confines of their cell, to no avail.
Aiha is able to free them with the help of other Regalia she confessed her sins to. Kazuma manages to intervene during Bishamon's near fatal blow to Yato, revealing his betrayal of the Ma clan.
He later recovers after Bishamon has banished Kuguha and destroyed the Phantom released by the doctor. He is asked to be her Exemplar once more, even participating in the journal she has made to better understand her Regalias.
Like all Shinki, Kazuma has the ability to create a Boundary, though he struggled with it at first. Kazuma is exceptionally skilled at tracking people, gods, and their Shinki.
He is also a skilled navigator. Kazuma has the ability to manipulate his surroundings. He was able to make it so that Vaisravana and Kuraha were unable to see Hiyori.
Kazuma has the ability to cast a binding restraint on a target with a power equal to or less than his own. This ability appears to take the form of invisible chains.
Kazuma used this spell on Kugaha in an attempt to get him to say who he was working for. He used this on Yato, but found it ineffective.
He used this skill again to make Yukine talk unwillingly. However, Yukine was able to break the spell. It is shown that he can take domination only if he believes so. It enables him to cast spells that can be used as a protection or to attack; in the manga he uses this to help Yato in his fight chapter 65 Trivia Edit He is the last survivor of the "Ma" clan, Bishamonten's old Shinkis. Bishamon was about to give chase to Yato, when Kazuma tells her that, though she may be willing to pursue Yato no matter what the costs, he would not allow her to risk further harm to her Shinki.
Bishamon retreats but not without warning. She later visits Kofuku, asking about the latter's intervention in the battle. Kofuku tells Bishamon that, if something were to happen to Yato, she should be prepared for "a lot of Gloom".
Bishamon is shocked by this and departs. She is seen multiple times bathing, and later taking medicine given to her Kugaha, for her growing Blight. It is seen that Bishamon has a the habit of taking in lost souls, making them her Shinki.
However, having so many Shinki wears on her, and it makes it difficult for her to care for all of them. As a result, many of her subordinates are seen feeling neglected or unloved; but, they attempt to put on a brave front to lesser their master's burdens.
Later, upon noticing the death of Suzuha, Bishamon is distraught by the loss of one of her Shinki. Upon the discovery of Suzuha's death, Yukine, his acquaintance, follows Kazuma to Bishamon's shrine. When she sees that Yato's Shinki is in her home, she is furious. She is even more disturbed to see Kazuma conversing with him. She demands an answer from Kazuma, asking him if the rumors of his involvement with Yato's Purification Ceremony are true.
When Kazuma confesses that they are, she is distraught. She accuses him of betraying her, to which Kazuma counters that Yato is their "benefactor".
Bishamon, shell-shocked, prepares to excommunicate Kazuma; however, she hesitates, choosing instead to exile Kazuma, telling him that he "could become a Stray for all she cared". She then departs, stricken that Kazuma, her blessed Shinki, has betrayed her.

When Yato believes Bishamon has kidnapped Hiyori after she vanishes with two rogue Regalia, Kugaha pushes his plan further, unveiling the blight caused by one of the infected Regalia, Aiha. This leads to confrontation in the shrine while Kazuma and Hiyori deduce Kugaha's plot to succeed the war god.
When Kazuma intervenes and is dealt a devastating blow, he tearfully confesses his involvement in the slaughter of the Ma Clan. A tearful Bishamon is told the truth of Kugaha's scheme for her to "repent", only for Yato to cut off his hand and state that Gods can do no wrong.
After finding that Kugaha's intentions were for the best interest of Bishamon, she accepts it as truth and revokes his name before casting him away, subsequently dealing with the masked Phantom that had slaughtered most of her Regalia.
After nursing Kazuma back to health, she asks him to be her Exemplar once again, and he gratefully accepts.
