As one commenter stated in the clearest of terms: Underlying these comments are a host of unquestioned assertions, not just about sibling relationships but also about what camp is or should be and why kids go in the first place.

One commenter tells us: May as well start practicing now. We have a small house. We have no extra bedrooms.

Feeling weird about DH's relationship with his sister :/

The bathroom shower has worked for millions of boys for at least the last one hundred years. They sit in separate classrooms at school, participate in after-school activities, attend birthday parties and have play dates — both with and without each other. She got the job, but never helped pay for food or did anything around the house, including keeping her room clean.

After two weeks, she and her boyfriend got back together, and she was spending every night with him at his parents' house. She would return to our home to eat, wash clothes, shower and use the Internet. She didn't keep her part of the bargain.
